Calculation boundaries
Electricity used by one existing dishwasher for the same suitable loads and water supply. External water heating, manufacture, detergent and carbon are excluded. This is a complete-cycle comparison: do not add an air-drying or full-load saving for the same cycles without comparing the combined change.
The initial 1.00 and 0.54 kWh are product-specific values from the same Miele manual at 15°C inlet water. Four changed cycles per week and 52 weeks are illustrative assumptions. Use comparable programme data or measurements for your own machine; an energy-label figure per 100 eco cycles must be divided by 100.
